Project:Union Catalog on the Web
Working with a team of specialists at RLG, I created a complete architecture solution for a searchable web-based interface to RLG's Union Catalog - a comprehensive listing of more than 126 million bibliographic records. The interface allows college students and lifelong learners to locate materials and generate dynamic bibliographies to aid them with their research. The information architecture process involved an initial round of market studies, followed by preliminary architecture and two rounds of user testing. Once requirements were fully defined, I delivered a complete architecture strategy along with a detailed functional specifications document.
